My first real outing

We are leaving Bangalore and shifting to Delhi (more about that later). We decided to do some site seeing around Bangalore before leaving and so we decided to go to Mysore and Kabini Jungle resorts for my first real outing.

Papa, Mummy, Noddy and Aditi Maasi hired a big car and we all started. We had lots of fun on the way as well. We started our trip from the famous Mysore palace which looks amazing at night.






We then went to Chamundi temple. We stayed overnight at Mysore and next day early in the morning, started for Kabini. It's an excellent resort in Nagarhole jungles. We had some good time there. In the evening we went for jungle safari and saw some animals. Papa was disappointed that we did not get to see any tigers etc but i was happy with elephants and peacocks.

We went again for a boat safari next day early morning. This time, we saw some cool birds.




Overall, it was a happy experience for me and i had fun with Noddy.

मस्ती की पाद्शाला - Fun with Maasi, Maama and Maamee

Its been a long time since my last post but its been a busy month for me. Garima bua can not digest the fact that i have nothing to do the whole day but still i am the most busy person around (and keep others busy as well).

First came Supriya Maasi. I bored her (I'd call her उप्रिया मासी) so much by asking her to read them all the the time that she finally hid all my books :-)

I mentioned earlier how much i like watching cartoons. I have managed to get everybody else too addicted to it. My मामा and मामी are here and often it so happens that मामा (whom i call niku mama) keeps watching the cartoons even if i'm not watching...

Well i can also copy other people. Do u know what my favorite posture is while watching tv - head resting on the sofa edge with my body suspended in air and tip of my feet on the table with remote in my hand! -You must be wondering where i get that from - obviously my papa ---so now u know what he does the whole day, while माँ is busy cooking and taking care of us.



Adi mausi got me loads of new books...it looks like as if i got a treasure. I Keep asking everyone to read for me.

I have also learnt a couple of new phrases. When i do not agree with something, I say "baad girl" to everyone irrespective of their gender and i use it often for my mammi. I also ask everyone "चाय चाहीये" :). I also like saying "अछा है" when i like something and especially while having my favorite drink - chilled butter milk.

I can also understand 4 languages now - hindi tamil, kannada and english. I converese with Sudha aunti in Tamil and Mary aunti in Kannada while everyone else can't make out what we are talking.

For me, anything in large number is equal to four because i can count only till 4. So on a street, there are always 4 autos, 4 cars and 4 buses :).

I love watching Cartoons

But I can't pronounce it properly yet - I say "Ka-koon" and often drag papa to watch them with me. We sit on the sofa (actually i like sitting on his tummy with remote in my hand) and we watch cartoon network or Nick till maa says enough!

Papa got chocolates. I suspect he got it for himself but now that i've developed a taste for chocolates (btw, i can't pronounce this also) I have not left anything for him. I often cry till maa or papa give me one. Now that i've learnt how to open the refrigerator and pick up the chocolate box myself, I think i'll need to cry less. But i'm sure maa will find out the fridge keys and lock it

Papa usually travels quite a bit and every time he comes back, it usually takes some time for me to get friendly with him again. However, this time it was different. When he came back, i was immediately friendly with him. He got me a lovely train-block toy

I’ve also learnt to speak a few words now. I can blabber some poems like “Johny Johny yes papa”. I especially like to say “Ha ha ha ” in the end. I can also sing “choo choo kartee aayee chidiya” but its only my papa and maa who can understand what i’m singing

Papa also teaches me funny things that most other people consider unsophisticated - think making sounds with saliva. He also taught be some bad words but i’ll skip them for now.

I think i can also dance well. I especially like it when dancing with papa. I hold both of his hands and we dance together. Sometimes, i put my feet on his feet and we dance like that.

The other thing i’ve learnt is to ask “ye kyaa hai” for everything। So if there are four buttons on maa’s shirt, i put my finger on each button and ask “maa ye kyaa hai”। Sometimes, i just point my finger at nothing and ask the same question। I think this makes her go mad sometimes but i think its fun।

Hi and Welcome. So i finally get a blog for myself :).
Unfortunately I can not read and write *yet* and so my papa will do shadow writing for me. Once i grow up, hopefully i’ll have enuf interest to carry on myself.
